VDOT traffic alert—part of Balls Ford Road to be closed March 10 for track work
Weather permitting on Sunday, March 10, Balls Ford Road in Manassas will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Wellingford Drive and Randolph Ridge Lane while Norfolk Southern performs work at the railroad crossing.
Motorists will follow a posted detour, according to a news release from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)
Traffic heading north on Balls Ford Road will take Wellingford Drive to Livingston Road to Wellington Road to the Prince William Parkway to Balls Ford Road.
Traffic heading south on Balls Ford Road will take the Prince William Parkway to Wellington Road to Balls Ford Road.
