Anderson & Baker to share what’s happening in state government at Jan. 12 town hall

This coming Saturday, January 12, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon, Sen. George Barker and Delegate Rich Anderson, who represent part of the Prince William County area, will host a joint legislative town hall in the main building at the Westminster Retirement Community, 12191 Clipper Drive, Lake Ridge, VA. This free event is open to the public.

“All delegates and senators are currently residing in Richmond for the next six weeks for the 2013 legislative session of the Virginia General Assembly, and we will be home for the weekend to update constituents on issues before the Assembly, discuss the legislation that we are patroning, and to answer questions from our neighbors,” according to a news release from Barker and Anderson offices.

“This is a great opportunity to engage with elected representatives on issues to be considered in Richmond, and we look forward to seeing as many of our neighbors as possible this coming Saturday,” Anderson and Barker were quoted as saying.
