Parents of the nearly 84,000 students in Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) will soon have a chance to express their opinions on PWCS programs, services, teacher quality, and the environment in the schools their children attend.
Either through email or U.S. mail, they will be asked to complete the annual Divisionwide survey before the deadline of Feb. 1. Surveys are scheduled to be sent to parents on Jan. 14.
“Opinions are very important in helping to maximize the quality of schools and educational programs in our county. We can learn from both compliments and criticisms and our students will benefit from the thoughts of everyone who participates,” said Irene Cromer, supervisor of school community relations.
Parents will receive a separate survey for each school in which they have a child or children enrolled. Those who have email addresses on file with PWCS will be contacted by email and given a computer link to complete the survey online.
Parents who do not have an email address on file with PWCS will receive the survey via U.S. Postal Service and will be given the option to either complete the paper survey or use the computer link provided to complete the survey online.
Parents with questions should contact the Office of Program Evaluation at 703-791-7277.
