PWC police search for clues to masked man in sexual assault, at Econo Lodge in Woodbridge

On December 5th at 10:13PM, police and detectives from the Special Victims Bureau responded to the Econo Lodge located at 13317 Gordon Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a sexual assault.

The victim, the clerk, a 33 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she received a call to let someone into one of the rooms of the motel. As the victim was walking to the room, in the stairwell, she was approached from behind by a masked man who then forced her into the room at knife point. Once inside the room, the victim was knocked unconscious and sexually assaulted.

The room the clerk was called to was later determined to have been vacant. The victim was not able to provide police with a further description of the assailant. The investigation continues. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
