PWC Police Beat for 10/17/12

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding | Attempted Robbery – On October 16th at 3:15PM, police responded to the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle (22172) for an assault. The victim, a 14 year old male of Triangle, reported to police that he was with a friend in the above area when they were approached by the accused, TORRES, known acquaintance. The accused asked the victim for money and when the victim refused, an argument ensued. During the encounter, the victim attempted to walk away, at which point, the accused repeatedly struck the victim. A second suspect, identified as a juvenile, was with the accused and also assaulted the victim, knocking him the ground. Once on the ground, TORRES, went through the victim’s pockets in an attempt to locate money. The victim’s friend was able to break up the fight. No money was taken. The victim was transported to an area hospital as a precaution with injuries to his head. Officers were able to locate the suspects involved in the assault. Both were arrested without further incident.

Charged with malicious wounding, robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor

Narcotics Investigation – On October 16th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into drug transactions with the execution of a search warrant at 4708 Kirkdale Dr in Woodbridge (22193). As a result of the search, marijuana, ecstasy, and packaging material were recovered. The following arrests were also made without incident.

Jordan Jaycee JONES, 25, of 4708 Kirkdale Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic
Court date set for December 7, 2012, held WITHOUT bond

Lawrence Tyrone PEARSON, 23, of 4708 Kirkdale Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 1 count of distribution of a schedule IV narcotic
Court date set for December 7, 2012, released on a $1,000 unsecured bond

Bobby Jack POOLE JR, 40, of 4715 Kirkdale Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with 3 counts of distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic
Court date set for December 7, 2012, held WITHOUT bond

Narcotics Investigation – On October 16th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into the distribution of marijuana with the below arrests which were made in the 2000 block of Chablis Cir in Woodbridge (22192). Both arrests were made without incident. As a result of the investigation, a 2007 Nissan Altima and marijuana were seized.

Aaron Mahmood ADEL, 20, of 12975 Queen Chapel Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date unavailable, held on a $5,000 secured bond

Ahmad Waheed ADEL, 29, of 12975 Queen Chapel Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Court date unavailable, held on a $5,000 secured bond

**INCIDENTS**

Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 16th at 4:27PM, police responded to the 13600 block of Kitty Hawk Way in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 1:00PM and 2:00PM, she hear d a loud bang coming from outside the residence. Later that day, the homeowner located damage to the front door where it appeared someone had attempted to force the door open. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 16th at 4:26PM, police responded to the 3700 block of Hetten Ln in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that sometime between 8:10AM and 3:30PM, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a rear door which had been damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
