Unlawful Entry into a School – On August 31, 2012 at 5:10 p.m., police responded to Rockledge Elementary School located at 2300 Mariner Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Staff reported to police that a group of unknown juveniles entered the school around 5 p.m. through an unsecured door. Staff present at the school attempted to confront the group, at which point, the group dispersed and left the school grounds. No items were reported missing.
Armed Robbery – On September 1, 2012 at 11:26 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Colchester Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. The victim, a 34 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the area above when he was approached by 3 unknown men. One of the men implied he had a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet. The men took the victim’s wallet and fled the area. No weapon was seen, only implied, and no injuries were reported. Lookout:3 Hispanic males, all reported to be between 20 & 21 years of age, medium builds. The armed man was last seen wearing a blue sports jersey and jeans – no other clothing descriptions.
Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm – On August 29th at 11:58PM, police responded to the area of Pinewood Ct and Colchester Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a firearms violation. Multiple callers reported to police that they heard, what was believed to be, several gunshots in the area above. No suspects were located and no property damage or injuries were reported.
Residential Burglary – On September 2nd at 6:41PM, police responded to the 14900 block of January Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that she was on a lower level floor of her residence when she heard someone upstairs. The homeowner called out to the unknown person who then fled out of the front door. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence and no items were reported missing. The homeowner did not see the intruder and therefore could not provide a description.
Residential Burglary – On September 2nd at 2:03PM, police responded to the 2900 block of Fox Lair Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00AM and 4:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked front door. A laptop and purse, valued around $400, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On September 1st at 12:20AM, police responded to the 12300 block of Helm Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM on August 31st and 12:20AM on September 1st. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear glass door which had been broken out. No items of value were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On August 31st at 5:11PM, police responded to the 4500 block of Hendricks Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 5:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. Jewelry and a gaming console with related games, valued around $400, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On August 30th at 11:54AM, police responded to the 14100 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM and 9:00AM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a unsecured rear window. No items were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On August 28th at 5:26PM, police responded to the 3100 block of Cave Ct in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on August 25th and 2:00PM on August 28th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an open door on the attached garage. A bicycle, valued around $100, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On August 26th at 5:00PM, police responded to the 2800 block of Powell Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30PM on August 25th and 6:00AM on August 26th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a unsecured window. A laptop, valued around $1,800, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.
