PW Police charge some Woodbridge residents with crimes

DAILY INCIDENT REPORT - December 30, 2024
• Aggravated Assault – On December 29 at 12:16AM, officers responded to Kleber’s Restaurant located at 13634 Richmond Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed a 27-year-old man was involved in a physical altercation with other parties. During the encounter, the man was struck in the head with a glass bottle. The other involved parties dispersed prior to officers arriving on scene. The man was provided aid for a non-life threatening injury and refused to cooperate further with police as to what occurred or the other parties potentially involved.

• Shooting Investigation in Nokesville – On Sunday, Dec. 29 at 12:43AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14000 block of Orlando Rd in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed a large party was occurring at the home when multiple shots were fired, and striking a 17-year-old male juvenile in the lower body. Officers provided immediate aid to the juvenile who was treated at an area hospital for the non-life threatening injury.
The other attendees dispersed prior to officers arriving on scene. The juvenile refused to cooperate further with police as to what occurred or the other parties potentially involved.

Aggravated Assault – On Sunday, Dec. 29 at 12:19AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Kleber’s Restaurant located at 13634 Richmond Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. • Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 at 8:29PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Broadstone at River Oaks Apartments located in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a reckless handling of a firearm. The investigation revealed an argument had occurred in front an apartment building between three individuals.
During the encounter, shots were fired by one of the involved parties which struck a front glass window of a common area. The parties dispersed prior to officers arriving on scene. The armed suspect was only described as a black male wearing dark-colored clothing.

• Commercial Burglary – On Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024 at 10:39AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Tobacco Store located at 12518 Gordon Blvd, #100, in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary.
The investigation revealed forced entry was made into the business around 4:17AM through a front glass window which had been shattered. In-store cameras showed three male suspects wearing hoods, masks, and dark-colored clothing enter the business and steal merchandise. Multiple vaping products and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing. The suspects left in a white or light-colored SUV similar to a KIA Sportage. The same suspects may be involved in similar incidents at Crystal Smoke & Vape on Cardinal Dr and the Exotic Smoke Shop on Minnieville Rd reported below. No further suspect descriptions were provided.

• Commercial Burglary | Attempted Commercial Burglary – On Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024 at 3:53AM, officers responded to Cystal Smoke & Vape located at 15042 Cardinal Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation.
The investigation revealed forced entry was attempted into the business through a glass window which was found damaged. No entry was made into the business, and no property was reported missing.
A short time later, at 4:06AM, officers responded to the nearby Exotic Smoke Shop located at 14170 Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate another alarm activation.
The investigation revealed forced entry had been made into the business through a side glass window which had been shattered. Multiple smoking devices and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing. In-store cameras in both incidents showed three male suspects wearing hoods, masks, and dark-colored clothing arrive and leave in a white or light-colored SUV similar to a KIA Sportage. The same suspects may be involved in a similar incident reported at The Tobacco Store reported above. No further suspect descriptions were provided.

Commercial Burglaries
• On Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 at 2:57AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to VAMAC store located at 13794 Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation. The investigation revealed forced entry was made into the business through the front glass door which had been shattered.
In-store cameras showed two men wearing masks and dark-colored clothing enter the business an attempt to steal power tools. No property was reported missing. The suspects fled in a dark-colored mid-sized SUV.

• A short time later, at 3:08AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the nearby Ferguson Plumbing Supplies located at 14498 Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22912) to investigate another alarm activation. The investigation revealed forced entry had also been made into the business through the front glass door which had been shattered. Multiple smoking devices and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing. In-store showed similar described suspects enter the business and steal merchandise before leaving in the same vehicle. Multiple power tools were reported missing. The suspects were only described as a black male and white male, both with thin builds.

• Attempted Commercial Burglary – On Dec. 29, 2024 at 9:43AM, officers responded to Beyond Hello Cannabis Dispensary located at 14400 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed sometime between 9:45PM on December 28 and 9:00AM on December 29, forced entry was attempted into the business through a glass window which was found damaged. No entry was made into the business, and no property was reported missing. No suspect description was provided.

Arrests
• Malicious Wounding (Domestic) –
On December 28 at 11:26PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Kelso Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 32-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused repeatedly struck the victim to the head and upper body. The parties were separated, and the victim left the home to a nearby business where police were contacted. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Elmer Xavier LEON, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding (Domestic) – On Friday, Dec. 27 at 5:32PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Agency Lp in Triangle (22172) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 21-year-old man, was stabbed by a family member, identified as the accused, in an unprovoked attacked inside the home. The parties were separated, and police were eventually contacted. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile, was charged.

Strong-Arm Robbery – On Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024 at 11:42AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Wendy/s located at 14493 Gideon Blvd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a patron, later identified as the accused, was making a purchase at the register when he went behind the counter and pushed an employee to access the open cash register. No injuries were reported. The accused was located a short distance away from the business where he was detained without incident. Drug paraphernalia was located in the suspect’s possession. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Demetres Andrew COFFENBERRY, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 6:39PM, Prince William County Police officers were conducting proactive patrol of the Elevations One Apartments located at 14300 block of Bellona Rd in Woodbridge (22191) when the accused was observed trespassing on the property. During the encounter, the accused repeatedly kneed an officer before being detained. No injuries were reported. The suspect was also found in possession of suspected illegal narcotics. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as William LAMBERT, was arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 8:15PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Kohl’//////////s located at 13725 Foulger Sq in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shoplifting. Officers observed the accused select merchandise and proceed to the exit without paying where he was confronted. During the encounter, the accused attempted to flee from officers and, at one point, kicked an officer in the upper body before being detained. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Tyree Ronelle FIELDS, was arrested.
