Prince William County Police Department issued the following report of incidents on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024:
• Attempted Malicious Wounding (Domestic) – On Monday, Nov. 11, 2024 at 8:29PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 12300 block of Running Deer Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a domestic dispute.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 40-year-old woman, and a juvenile family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused attempted to stab the victim with a screwdriver before leaving the home. The accused was eventually located and detained without incident. The accused was released back to the custody of his family. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers consulted Juvenile Services and obtained a petition for the accused, identified as a 12-year-old boy, on Nov. 12.

• Aggravated Assault – On Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 at 3:59PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the area of Rixlew Ln and Ashton Ave (20109) earlier that afternoon around 1:50PM.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, was approached by a group of other juveniles as he walked through the area. During the encounter, a juvenile from the group began to assault the victim before other juveniles joined in. The victim reportedly lost consciousness during the altercation before he eventually regained consciousness and contacted a family member. The victim was treated at an area hospital where police were contacted. • Shooting into an Unoccupied Vehicle | Reckless Handling of a Firearm ARREST involving Aug. 2023 case– On Tuesday, Nov.5, 2024, Prince William County Police Department detectives obtained arrest warrants for a suspect identified in the shots fired call that was reported to have occurred in the 13900 block of Rope Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) on August 4, 2023. The suspect, identified as Bryant Manuel HENRIQUEZ FLORES, was taken to custody without incident on Nov.11, 2024.

Shooting into an Unoccupied Vehicle | Reckless Handling of a Firearm [Previously Released] – On August 4 at 10:40PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Rope Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed the victim, a 50-year-old man, was working on a vehicle parked in the above area, when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a firearm and fired multiple rounds towards the victim. The victim was able to flee the area on foot and was not injured. While investigating the incident, officers determined the man was possibly with a group of other men who were near a brown-colored vehicle prior to the encounter. While checking the area, officers located two vehicles that sustained damage consisted with being struck by projectiles, and shell casings in the roadway. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
ARRESTS
• Felony Child Neglect – On Tuesday, Nov, 12, 2024 at 7:53AM, Prince William County Police officers in the 1300 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) conducted a vehicle stop on a driver for passing a stopped school bus loading children.
During the interaction with the driver, identified as the accused, officers learned the accused was wanted on a failure to appear warrant. Officers further observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. At the time of the vehicle stop, two children, ages 7 and 9, were in the back seat of the vehicle where additional drug paraphernalia was located. The children were unharmed and released to the custody of a family member. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eddy Omar LOPEZ GONZALEZ, was arrested.
