PWC Police Report for Nov. 8, 2024: Victim struck in face with stone object

INCIDENTS
Malicious Wounding – On Nov.7, 2024 at 2:34AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13200 block of Haddock Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 57-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim before striking her in the face with a stone object. The parties separated and the accused left the residence. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Asha Yussef MOHAMED. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Wanted: 
Asha Yussef MOHAMED, 29, of the 3100 block of Ranger Rd. in Fairfax
Described as a black female, approximately 5’7”, 145lbs., with medium length brown hair, and brown eyes
Wanted for malicious wounding and petit larceny

ARRESTS
• Sexual Assault Investigation – On Nov. 6, 2024, Prince William County Police detectives concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence in the Manassas (20110) area of Prince William County in February 2018.
The investigation revealed the victim, who was under the age of 12 at the time of the incidents, was inappropriately touched by a man known to her, identified as the accused. The victim recently reported the incidents to police. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Willian Alexander CRUZ ESCOBAR, who turned himself in to police on November 6, 2024.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties by custodian

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 7, 2024 at 4:47PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Potomac Ridge Apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to assist a person in crisis.
When officers entered the apartment they observed a woman, later identified as the accused, who was intoxicated and attempting to harm herself. When officers attempted to intervene, the accused kicked and struck an officer before being detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Desiree Debora MAHMOUD, was arrested.
