Woodbridge man charged Oct. 24 in July incidents; turns self in

Sexual Assault Investigation – On October 24, 2024 Prince William County Police detectives concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 15200 block of Colony Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) on July 24.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old woman, was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, who also grabbed her neck during the encounter. When the victim attempted to leave the accused prevented her from leaving the residence. Eventually, the victim was able to leave the residence and contacted the police. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Jhalil Malik HARDIN, who turned himself in to police on October 24.
