The spirit and aroma of fall is in the air, and later this month foods and household items made by Sudley United Methodist Church’s bakers, cooks, crafters and sewing specialists will been display and for sale at the church’s102nd Annual Holiday Bazaar. This event extends over three days — Friday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, also from 111 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 27,, from noon to 3 p.m.
Shop at the Sudley United Methodist Church’s “Country Store” where you find that there will be a bevy of homemade canned goods to include apple butter, applesauce, jams, jellies, pickles, salsa, bruschetta, and much, much, more. The store will be chocked full of delicious homemade baked goods such as brownies, cookies, pies, “Granny’s Fudge,” and more. As you walk through the “Country Store,” you will find the “Best Knitted Dishcloths ever!” Once you use one, you’ll never want to use another kind of dishcloth again.
You will find many homemade crafts of pillows, blankets, gifts, and much, much, more. All the canned and baked goods as well as the crafts are prepared by our local community and church family. In addition, there will be “White Elephant” tables — full of treasures! And, if that wasn’t enough, there will be a “Silent Auction” for a beautiful homemade quilt! Come on out and get some of your Holiday Shopping done — You just might find that special gift for someone special.
