Mysterious fire in Montclair Oct. 4; fire officials attempting to account for residents
Matt Smolsky, Assistant Chief – Fire Marshal, has reported that Prince William County fire and rescue units were dispatched this morning at 5:50 a.m. to the 15700 block of Piedmont Place in the Montclair community, located off Rte. 234 in Dumfries, for several calls reporting a single-family dwelling on fire in the neighborhood.
Smolsky said units arrived to find a two-story single-family dwelling totally involved. Currently crews are attempting to account for the home’s residents. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
