DAILY INCIDENT REPORT - October 3, 2024
INCIDENTS
• Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On October 2, 2024 at 9:56AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the intersection of Kirby Dr. and River Heritage Blvd. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a destruction of property. The investigation revealed sometime overnight, multiple gunshots were fired before a vehicle quickly drove out of the area. The following morning, a vehicle owner located damage to their vehicle which was parked overnight in the above area. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
• Commercial Burglaries – On Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 5:56AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Cheshire Station Plaza shopping center located at 4215 Cheshire Station Plz. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate multiple burglaries.
The investigation revealed entry was forced through the front glass door of two separate businesses, Kiki Riki and Golden House.
While investigating the incident, officers were notified of three additional businesses located nearby in the Center Plaza shopping center, Padrinos Pizza, China Garden, and Margarita Grill, where similar style burglaries occurred. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7”, with a medium build and wearing dark-colored clothing.
Arrests
• Strangulation (Domestic Related) – On September 25, 2024 Prince William County Police officers concluded the investigation into a domestic dispute that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 9700 block of Cheshire Ridge Cl. in Manassas (20110) on September 13.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 49-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck before the parties separated. The victim was later treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Nabil Nady MELEK, who turned himself in to police on September 25.

• Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related – On October 2, 2024 at 3:12PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the intersection of Dale Blvd. and Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, an 18-year-old man, was driving on Richmond Hwy. when he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of another vehicle, identified as the accused.
While both vehicles were stopped at the above intersection, the accused brandished a firearm towards the victim before the parties separated. While investigating the incident, officers received additional information identifying the accused who they located and detained without incident. Officers also recovered the firearm believed to have been used during the incident after the accused attempted to dispose the weapon. No shots were fired during the incident and no injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jaime Arsenio GONZALES MORALES, was arrested.
