Prince William County’s Swift Water Rescue Team was released Sunday morning, Sept. 29, by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM).
The team members spent most of day returning to the County and safely arrived last night, Sept. 29, at the Prince William County Training Academy, according to Matt Smolsky, deputy chief. The team was grateful for the opportunity to help Virginia residents affected by the hurricane, but glad to be back home.
“Great job, team,” Smolsky said.
