Knights Of Columbus hosts annual parish yard sale in Lake Ridge Aug. 3-4

Get ready to shop ‘til you drop this weekend at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Knights of Columbus Annual Parish Yard Sale, at Seton Hall, 12807 Valleywood Drive, in the Lake Ridge community of Woodbridge, VA 22192.  Sale hours are Saturday Aug. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 4, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in upper Seton Hall.

Make Saturday, Aug. 3 and/or Sunday, Aug,. 4 a weekend of fantastic finds and great bargains and an opportunity to snag some treasures along the way. Proceeds help fund a variety of programs that the Knights provide to the community-encompassing faith, family, and life, a news release said.

Books (paperback or hardcopies) CD’s and DVD’s were collected and donated to the parish’s American Heritage Girls Troop to be used in their fundraiser. Due to space limitations, the Knights were unable to accept furniture or large exercise equipment, a news release said.

With more than a million members, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic lay organization. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, the community, families, and young people. The Knights of Columbus at all levels of the organization has raised and distributed millions of dollars to charity and rendered millions of hours of volunteer service.
