PWC Police crime report for May 30: Delivery driver robbed; three juveniles arrested in shoe theft

Prince William County Police Department ‘s CRIME REPORT for May 30, 2024

INCIDENTS
• Stabbing Investigation –
On Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 10:54PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a stabbing that was reported to have occurred in the area of Old Bridge Rd. near Minnieville Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that evening.
Officers were notified of a 27-year-old man being treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening stab wounds to the upper body. The man was not forthcoming with information as to what led up to the injuries or further on the parties involved in the altercation. No crime scene or evidence of an altercation were located. No additional injuries were reported.

•Armed Robbery – OnWednesday, May 29, 2024 at 10:13PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 12500 block of Armada Pl. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 39-year-old man, was making a delivery in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man brandished a firearm towards the victim and took the items before leaving the area. The victim also left the area and contacted the police. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported.

A black male, approximately 30 years old, tall, with a medium build, and medium-length dreadlocks with silver tips

• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 12:00AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Glen Ridge Commons Apartments located in the 12800 block of Island House Lp. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple shots were fired. One round entered an apartment. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Brandishing of a Firearm – On Wednesday,  May 29, 2024 at 2:58PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred at the Food Lion located at 13414 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 2:40PM on May 27, 2024.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 42-year-old woman, confronted an unknown driver who was parked the fire lane. During the encounter, the driver got out of the vehicle brandishing a firearm. The victim left the area. No shots were fired. On May 29 the victim observed the same suspect in the parking lot and contacted the police. No additional contact occurred.

•Residential Burglary – On Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 5:36PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 7900 block of Norfolk Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the home was entered sometime between 8:00AM and 10:45AM through an unsecured rear door. Clothing, jewelry and an undisclosed amount of money were reported missing.

ARRESTS
• Shoe Robbery –
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024 Prince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 1700 block of Featherstone Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) on the evening of May 20.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 13-year-old male juvenile, was approached from behind and assaulted by three other juveniles who pushed him to the ground and took his shoes before leaving the area. Minor injuries were reported. While investigating the incident, officers identified the three juveniles and sought detention orders. Following the investigation, all three juveniles were arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On May 26 at 1:40AM, Prince William County Police officers were in the area of Delaware Dr. and Maryland Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) when an individual was observed attempting to enter vehicles. During contact with the individual, later identified as the accused, the police officers determined he was a juvenile and intoxicated. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he actively resisted before being detained without further incident.
An officer reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers sought petitions against the accused, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile. On May 28, after consultation with Juvenile Court Services, the case resulted in a formal action and will be handled through the court process at a later date.
