UPDATES
• Attempted Malicious Wounding | Robbery *ARREST | NEW INCIDENT – On Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 8:46AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 2200 block of Oberlin Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked in a fire lane. The investigation revealed the occupant of the vehicle, identified as the accused, initially provided officers with false identifying information, was determined to be intoxicated and in possession of suspected schedule I/II drugs.
Officers later identified the accused and determined he was the same man sought in connection to the robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 1700 block of Featherstone Rd. in Woodbridge on May 20.
Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Maazen Imran BUTT, was arrested.

• Newly Charged with providing false identifying information to law enforcement, possession of a scheduled I or II narcotic, and intoxicated in public
• Previously sought for attempted malicious wounding, robbery, strangulation, assault & battery, grand larceny

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Robbery [Previously Released] – On May 20 at 4:57AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 1700 block of Featherstone Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 24-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated while riding in the vehicle of a mutual acquaintance. While driving towards the above area, the accused threatened to harm the victim physically. When the vehicle stopped in the above area, the accused dragged the victim out of the vehicle and assaulted her before grabbing her neck. The accused then took the victim’s phone and purse before getting back into the vehicle and driving away with the acquaintance. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Maazen Imran BUTT. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
INCIDENTS
• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On May 23, 2024 at 11:10PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Landing at Markhams Grant Apartments located in the 2700 block of Haverford Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call.
The investigation revealed multiple shots were fired before an unknown male was seen running out of the area. The exterior wall of an apartment was struck by gunfire. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
• Strong-Arm Robbery – On Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 1:36PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 15200 block of Neabsco Mills Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile, was with a group of acquaintances in the above area when two unknown individuals approached them.
During the encounter, one of the suspects grabbed the victim while the other suspect took the victim’s shoes before both suspects ran out of the area. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Descriptions:
• A black male approximately, 19 years old, 6’2”, 180lbs., with medium length long black hair
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a brown shirt, and light-colored pants
• A white male, approximately 19 years old, 5’4”, with a medium build, short black hair, and a full black beard
Last seen wearing a black t-shirt and dark-colored pants
ARRESTS
• Rape Investigation – On May 22, 2024 at 11:03PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 2800 block of Gloucester Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) on the evening of May 21.
The investigation revealed the victim, who was under the age of 15, was brought to the above residence by a recent acquaintance, identified as the accused. While inside the home, the accused prevented her from leaving the room before sexually assaulting her. The victim was eventually able to separate from the accused and contacted the police. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Dennis William CABALLERO MEJIA, was arrested.
