• Murder Investigation *ADDITIONAL ARREST –
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, a second suspect was identified and arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man that occurred in the 14100 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on July 18, 2023.
While continuing to investigate the incident, detectives learned of a second juvenile suspect involved in the incident and obtained detention orders. Further investigation revealed that a group of males, including the victim and the suspect, met in the above area to conduct a marijuana transaction when rounds were fired, fatally striking the victim. Detectives identified the suspect as a 17-year-old male juvenile. On May 22, the accused was located and arrested in Stafford County by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. Another juvenile suspect was previously arrested in connection to the incident on July 21, 2023.

Murder Investigation *ARREST | VICTIM IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On July 21, the juvenile suspect sought in connection to the murder of an 18-year-old man that occurred in the 14100 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on July 18, was arrested. The suspect, a 16-year-old male juvenile, who was previously identified pursuant to a court order issued by the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court of Prince William County for the purposes of apprehension, was taken into custody by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation continues as detectives seek to identify any other individual(s) possibly involved in the fatal shooting. Detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact police at 703-792-6500 or submit a tip online at pwcva.gov/policetip.

Homicide Investigation [Previously Released] – On July 18 at 1:02AM, officers responded to the 14100 block of Big Crest Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed the victim, identified as an 18-year-old man, and a juvenile acquaintance where in the above area when the victim was shot in the upper body. After the shooting, the acquaintance contacted police to report his friend had been shot before disconnecting and leaving the area.
Officers initially responded and checked the area unable to locate the involved parties or a crime scene. While investigating the incident, the victim and acquaintance arrived at a hospital in another jurisdiction where they were connected to the altercation in Prince William County and the location identified on Big Crest Ln. The victim was subsequently flown to a trauma center where he died from his injury later in the morning.

The acquaintance was not injured in the encounter. At this time, the shooting does not appear to be random. Detectives are actively following up on leads as the investigation into the incident and what led up to the shooting continues. Further information regarding the identity of the deceased will be released pending notification of a next-of-kin. Detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact police.

INCIDENTS
• Malicious Wounding | Brandishing of a Firearm –
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:46AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2990 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault.
The investigation revealed that the victims, a 26-year-old man and a 53-year-old man parked at a gas pump when a white Buick parked in front of their vehicle.
The driver of the Buick, later identified as the accused, exited the vehicle and engaged in a verbal altercation with the victims while brandishing a firearm in his waistband. At one point during the encounter, the accused pushed the 26-year-old man before retrieving an extendable metal baton and striking the 53-year-old victim multiple times. The accused left the area prior to police arriving on scene.
The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Gregory Marsalis ROBINSON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, approximately 5’9”, 195lbs., with short black dreadlocks and brown eyes
Wanted for 1 count of malicious wounding, 2 counts of brandishing a firearm, and 1 count of assault & battery

* Bomb Threat Investigation – On Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 8:52AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a bomb threat.
The investigation revealed an individual posted a threat of potential violence towards the mall on Instagram. The mall was evacuated as a precaution while officers searched the grounds. No devices were located, and officers determined there was no active threat to the mall.

ARRESTS
• Strangulation (Domestic Related) –
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 4:46PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave. in Dale City (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 28-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim before grabbing her neck and then prevented her from using her phone.
Eventually, the victim was able to separate from the accused and ran from the home where she encountered police. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Spencer Andre ROBINSON, was arrested.

Charged with abduction, strangulation, domestic assault & battery, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement

• Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds – On May 1, 2024 at 11:09AM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Unity Reid High School located at 8820 Rixlew Ln. in Manassas (20109) was notified of a student in possession of a weapon.
The investigation revealed school security found a student, identified as the accused, in possession of a folding knife while investigating a separate incident. The SRO determined the knife was not part of any threat to other students, faculty, or staff. Following the investigation, officers sought petitions against the accused, identified as a 15-year-old male student. After consultation with Juvenile Court Services, the case resulted in formal action and will be handled through the court process at a later date.
