Prince William County Police Department issued this report on Wednesday, May 15:
UPDATES
• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling *ARREST – On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, one of the suspects sought in connection with the shooting that was reported to have occurred at the Coverstone Apartments in 10900 block of Coverstone Dr. in Manassas (20109) on April 26, was arrested.
Officers were investigating an unrelated incident at the Walmart located at 8386 Sudley Rd. and were notified by store security of two individuals concealing merchandise. When officers attempted to make contact with the individuals, both fled on foot.
Officers caught up to one of the suspects who was detained without incident. The suspect was determined to be the juvenile detectives sought in connection to the shooting on Coverstone Dr. on April 26. Following the investigation, the suspect, identified as a 17-old male juvenile, was arrested. The investigation continues as detectives attempt to identify the second individual involved in the shooting.

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling [Previously Released] – On April 26 at 5:25PM, officers responded to the Coverstone Apartments located in the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed the victim, a 19-year-old man, was approached by two unknown men and a family member. During the encounter, one of the unknown men brandished a firearm towards the victim. A verbal altercation ensued before the parties separated. A short time later, the victim observed the same suspects approaching him before multiple shots were fired. Two separate apartments were struck by gunfire. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
INCIDENTS
• Strong-Arm Robbery – On Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Mobil service station located at 2495 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed two that men went behind the service counter where they demanded money from the register. The suspects took the till and the money before leaving the area in a vehicle. No weapons were displayed during the incident and no injuries were reported.

ARRESTS
• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11:28AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to UVA Health Prince William Medical Center at 8700 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20110) to investigate a disorderly individual.
The investigation revealed, while receiving treatment, the accused became combative with hospital staff and officers. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he actively resisted, kicking two officers, and inappropriately grabbing a hospital staff member before being detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jason Jose CERROBLANCO, was charged.
The accused remains hospitalized and will be served upon release.

• Abduction (Domestic) – On Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 8:59PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8200 block of Community Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 31-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused physically prevented the victim from leaving the room and later attempted to prevent officers from making contact with the victim. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he actively resisted before being detained without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Federico DOMINGUEZ, was arrested.
