#1 Aggravated Assault – On Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 7:26PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at the El Gicarito located at 8059 Centerville Rd in Manassas (20111) earlier that afternoon at approximately 5 p..m.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 27-year-old man, and two other male acquaintances were at the above location when they were approached by an unknown man. An altercation ensued into a physical fight. At one point, another man, who was known to the victim, struck the victim multiple times with a metal chair. The parties separated and the victim was treated at an area hospital. Both suspects were described as Hispanic males.
2 Armed Robbery – On Sunday, April 21 at 7:14PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 8600 block of Centerton Ln In Manassas (20111) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed the victim, an 83-year-old man, reported to police he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the unknown man pulled out a pocket knife and demanded money. A struggle ensued before the suspect took the victim’s wallet and fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. The victim returned to his residence where the police were contacted. The suspect was only described as a Hispanic man with a dark complexion.
3. Armed Robbery – On Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 2:28PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a pathway located between Swift Stream Ct and the Tackett’s Mill commuter lot in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile, was walking in the above area with a female acquaintance when they were approached by three male suspects, one of whom was known to the victim.
During then encounter, one of the male suspects brandished a firearm while the suspects demanded the victim’s property. The suspects took the victim’s backpack and an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspects were described as black males in their late teens.
4. Strong-Arm Robbery – On Saturday, April 20, 2022 at 4:26PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Coastal service station located at 2010 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22912) to investigate a robbery.
The investigation revealed an unknown man approached an employee before leaning over the counter and grabbing money from the register. At one point, the suspect went around the counter, threatened the employee, and grabbed merchandise before fleeing. No injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a black male around 6’0”.
5. Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Sunday, April 21, 2022 at 9:37PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Broadstone at River Oaks Apartments located in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple gunshots were heard before a dark-colored vehicle was seen leaving the area. No injuries or property damage were reported. Several shell casings were located.
6. Reckless Handling of a Firearm On Sunday, April 21, 2022 at 4:52PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 17600 block of Batestown Rd in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple gunshots were heard before a dark-colored SUV occupied by an unknown man was seen leaving the area. No injuries or property damage were reported. Several shell casings were located.
7. Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery – On Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:38AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Wegman’s located at 14801 Dining Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 37-year-old man, made arrangements via the OfferUp app to sell an iPhone to an unknown party inside the above location. During the encounter, the suspect attempted to forcibly take the phone, which led to a struggle. The parties eventually separated. The phone was not taken. Minor injuries were reported.

Black male, unknown age, 6’0”, 165 lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a dark-colored North Face jacket, Under Armour sweatpants, hightop shoes, and white socks
8. Commercial Burglary – On Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 10:03AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Korean Grill located at 3131 Golansky Blvd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed sometime between 8:30PM on April 20 and 10:00AM on April 21, entry was forced into the business through the front glass door which was found shattered. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.
9. Attempted Residential Burglary
ARRESTS
1. Strangulation | Abduction (Domestic) – On Saturday, April 20, 2022 at 5:11PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a domestic dispute that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that afternoon at approximately 2:00PM.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 21-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused physically prevented the victim from leaving the home before grabbing her throat. The parties separated and the victim left the residence to report the incident to the police.
Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Nilson Jeovanny CARABANTE CANTARER. When officers attempted to serve the warrants, it was learned the accused had made concerning statements and was unable to be located. The accused was deemed missing and endangered before he was located safe on Apri 21 and arrested on the previously issued warrants.

2. Attempted Malicious Wounding (Domestic) – On April 21, 2024 at 10:57AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 29-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face before attempting to stab her with a knife.
The parties separated, and the victim contacted the police as the accused fled the apartment. Additional officers in the area located the accused and detained him without incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Osborne Keekai GRAY, was arrested.

3. Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 20 at 3:24AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 5500 block of Shadybrook Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a tenant dispute.
When officers arrived on the scene, they attempted to detain one of the parties involved, later identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused struggled and assaulted two officers before eventually being detained. Both officers sustained minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Gabriel BENITEZ, was arrested.
