PWC Police Crime Report March 25, 2024:  Assault & Battery on 3 Law Enforcement Officers

• Aggravated Malicious Wounding (Domestic) | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On March 22, 2024 at 11:14PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of North Park Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute.
The investigation revealed the accused was under the influence of an unknown narcotic and acting aggressively while swinging two knives. During the encounter, the victim, a 58-year-old family member, attempted to help calm the accused when she sustained a severe arm laceration. The accused fled the home as police were arriving on the scene. The accused continued running back and forth into traffic on
Minnieville Rd before losing his balance and being detained. During the arrest, the accused struck an officer. The victim was treated at an area hospital for the non-life threatening arm injury. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Atriom RASMUSSEN, was arrested.

preventing the summoning of law enforcement, domestic assault & battery, and public intoxication

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On March 23, 2024 at 2:08PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 17600 block of Possum Point Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting. While officers were attempting to render aid to the victim, an acquaintance, later identified as the accused, began to interfere. When officers attempted to guide the accused away so officers could continue life-saving efforts, the accused struck an officer in the arm and attempted to strike the officer a second time. Officers escorted the accused to a police cruiser where he then kicked and shattered the window before attempting to climb out of the vehicle. The accused continued to resist until being restrained. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Colby D. BAILEY.

Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery on LEO, 1 count of destruction of property, 1 count of obstruction of justice, 1 count of threats of bodily harm to LEO, 1 count of attempted escape from custody, and 1 count of public intoxication

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On March 24, 2024 at 11:47PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Olde Port Ln and Graham Park Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a crash. During the investigation, a passenger in one of the vehicles, later identified as the accused, exited the vehicle and began to interfere with the officer’s investigation. The accused was subsequently detained for public intoxication. While in custody, the accused kicked an officer. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as April Joy HUBBARD, was arrested.
