Lake Ridge area man robbed inside 7-Eleven by an acquaintance

ARRESTS
• Strong-Armed Robbery – On Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 1:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 12417 Cape Cod Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 35-year-old man, was followed into the store by an acquaintance, identified as the accused. Once inside the business, the accused demanded money from the victim. The accused took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before leaving on foot. No injuries were reported, and no weapons were seen. No encounter occurred with employees or the business itself. While checking the area, the accused was located and detained without incident. Following the investigation,
the accused, identified as Michael Everette HARRIS, was arrested.
