PWC Crime Report for Dec. 18, 2023: Indecent exposure on a public bus

INCIDENTS
• Malicious Wounding –
On Monday, Dec. 16, 2023 at 12:24PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Lustine Toyota Dodge auto dealership located at 14227 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault.
The investigation revealed earlier that morning, the victim, a 39-year-old man, and a co-worker, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face before the parties separated. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non life threatening injury. Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Maverick Bladimir MORENO BOLANOS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’9”, 195lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes

• Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Thursday, Dec.19, 2023 at 1:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13200 block of Old Delaney Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. Video surveillance revealed at approximately 3:27AM, a vehicle backed into the driveway of a residence in the above area before an occupant of the vehicle fired several rounds. A road sign and a tree behind the sign were struck. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

• Indecent Exposure – On Thursday, Dec.19, 2023 at 10:36AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred on a Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC) bus in the area of Opitz Blvd. and Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 4:30PM a week earlier, on Dec. 12. The investigation revealed the bus driver observed a male passenger expose himself and make inappropriate gestures. The driver stopped the bus a short distance away and the suspect fled on foot. No physical contact occurred between the suspect and the driver.
Suspect Description:
A black male, between 25-35 years old, approximately 6’0’, with a thin build Last seen wearing a face mask, a dark colored cap, a white camouflage colored puffer-style jacket, and dark colored pants

• Residential Burglary – On Thursday, Dec. 19, 2023 at 11:28PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 8100 block of Mace Ct. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed entry was made into the home through a side window which was found with the screen removed. While investigating the incident, the homeowner reported to officers that a second window also had the screen removed and the home had been entered on more than one occasion between Saturday, Nov. 16 and Wednesday, Dec. 18. Shoes, dog clippers, jewelry, and a Craftsman car jack were reported missing during the above timeframe.

• Residential Burglary – On Thursday, Dec. 19, 2023 at 8:05PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the Potomac Ridge Apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed entry was made into the apartment sometime between 12:00PM and 7:30PM through the front door which was found tampered with. A dryer was reported missing.

ARRESTS
• Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Armed Robbery –
On Tuesday, Dec. 17. 2023 at 12:07PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 16900 block of Francis West Ln. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed the victim, a 23-year-old man, arranged to purchase marijuana in the above area from an acquaintance, identified as the accused. During the encounter, the victim and a 16-year-old male juvenile passenger were inside a vehicle when the accused and an unknown male, possibly a juvenile, approached the vehicle brandishing firearms. The 23-year-old victim grabbed the firearm from the accused which led to a struggle.
At one point, a round fired, striking the 23-year-old victim. Both suspects then took money and a backpack from the victims before fleeing on foot. The victims drove out of the area and contacted the police. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. While investigating the incident, detectives identified the accused as a 16-year-old male juvenile who was taken into custody the next day. Detectives also identified the second suspect as a 17-year-old male juvenile and obtained detention orders. Attempts to locate the second suspect have been unsuccessful.

ªContributing to the Delinquency of a Minor – On Wednesday, Dec.18,  Prince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a child neglect that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 11200 block of Golden Leaf Cl. in Manassas (20109) on Thursday, Dec. 12. The investigation revealed at approximately 7:05PM, a Good Samaritan contacted the police after locating an unsupervised 6-year-old boy in the area of Rodes Dr. and Payton Dr. The child was able to show officers where he lived. The child’s mother, identified as the accused, eventually returned to the home, and encountered police. Officers determinedthe accused left the child unsupervised prior to the child walking out of the home. The child was unharmed and turned over to a family member. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Densit Nohemi ANDINO ALVAREZ, was arrested.
