PWC Crime Report Aug. 11: Two stabbed in middle of night in Woodbridge; police search for suspect

INCIDENTS
Stabbing Investigation – On August 11, 2023 at 4:08AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate two stabbings.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 35-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. When a second victim, a 59-year-old man, attempted to intervene, the accused pulled out a knife and stabbed both victims to the upper body before fleeing the apartment.

Officers arrived on scene and provided first aid to both victims who were then flown to area hospitals where they are expected to survive. A police K-9 and Fairfax County police helicopter searched for the suspect who was not located. No additional injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Khadija Ayesha CAMPBELL. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black female, approximately 5’5”, 170lbs., with short curly black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for 2 counts of malicious wounding
