A total of 29 new small businesses open in Prince William County in May

A total of 29 small business owners received a certificate of occupancy/written authorization to ‘Open for Business’ fromPrince William County’s Department of Development Services Small Business Project Management (SBPM) Program in May 2023, according to a county news release.

In all 133 small business owners have opened their doors since January, the release said.

“The depth of knowledge of all business use types and required training certifications our Project Managers have attained is a big asset to customers seeking to explore entrepreneurial business pursuits,” according to Mandi Spina, Acting Director of the Department of Development Services. Spina added, “We welcome all levels of inquiry on how to navigate commercial real estate building permits in the County and invite customers to ‘check in with our team of experts, before they begin!”

In May, owners/managers of the new and existing small businesses noted below received a new ‘certificate of occupancy/letter of authorization’ to open their doors for business.
