• iwhat Medicaid coverage you could be eligible for and how to get help in applying for Medicaid
• free fentanyl test strips, and
• ihow to find treatment for mental health needs or substance use and how to get access
The Community Services arm of Prince William County government can point you in the right direction on Monday afternoons in Manassas and on Wednesday afternoons in Woodbridge. Taxes help fund the information teams of clinical staff and trained peers.
Known as CS Resource for Recovery, members of the community are invited to enjoy a free snack and get information during a brief workshop on Mondays in Manassas and on Wednesdays in Woodbridge.
on Mondays from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sudley North building, 7987 Ashton Avenue, Manassas, in the Jean McCoy Conference Room (DSS entrance), and on Wednesdays from 2-4pm at the Ferlazzo building in Woodbridge near he Gar-Field police station at 5941 Donald Curtis Drive, in the Cafeteria.These sessions are facilitated by both clinical staff and trained peers. All community members are welcome to enjoy a free snack and chat with CS personnel and perhaps meet a new friend. As a bonus, attendees are invited to participate in free AcuDetox services, which is auricular acupuncture (acupuncture of the ear) that promotes detoxification and stress relief.
CS Resource for Recovery operates on Mondays from 2-4pm at the Sudley North building, 7987 Ashton Avenue, Manassas, in the Jean McCoy Conference Room (DSS entrance), and on Wednesdays from 2-4pm at the Ferlazzo building, 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge, in the Cafeteria. Also on Mondays at Ashton Ave. site: an active AA meeting starts on Mondays at noon in the Manassas location, so folks can come for the AA meeting and then stick around for a while to see what we have to offer. This AA meeting is not operated by the county.
