Visit OccoquanTown Hall on Friday, April 7—for Congressional Mobile Constituent Service

Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta has announced that staff from the office of Virginia’s 7th District congressional representative, Abigail Spanberger, will be holding a mobile constituent service session on Friday, April 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Occoquan Town Hall (314 Mill Street). No appointment is necessary. Simply stop by Town Hall.

Mayor Porta said, “This an opportunity for constituents to request assistance in obtaining basic information from an agency, communicating with federal agencies on an issue, getting status updates on matters before such agencies, or requesting reconsideration of matters previously before an agency. Such agencies include, but are not limited to the agencies like the IRS, Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, the State Department, Office of Personnel Management, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Postal Service.

Please note that this will be staff from Representative Spanberger’s office, not Representative Spanberger herself, and their area of focus will be on constituents from our local district—the 7th Congressional District of Virginia.
