Armed Robbery *ARREST – On March 8, 2023 Prince William County police officers arrested the second suspect involved in the Feb. 11, 2023 robbery that was reported to have occurred at Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192). While continuing the investigation, officers identified the second suspect and obtained a detention order. On March 8, the suspect, identified as a 14-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.
Another juvenile was previously charged on Feb. 11 in connection to the robbery investigation.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On February 11 at 6:55PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victims, who are both 15 years old, were inside the nursery room with a group of friends when they were approached by two other teenagers. One of the suspects lifted his shirt, brandishing a firearm while the other suspect shoved himself into the victims. During the encounter, the suspects demanded property from the victims before leaving the nursery room. No injuries were reported. While investigating, officers identified one of the suspects as a 14-year-old male juvenile and obtained juvenile petitions. The investigation remains active as officers attempt to identify the second suspect.
INCIDENTS
• Armed Robbery – On March 21, 2023 at 9:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 12600 block of Oakwood Dr. in the Lake Ridge section of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile, was approached by three unknown individuals.
During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects took a cell phone and money before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.

• Commercial Burglary – On March 22, 2023 at 1:53AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Bank of America located at 4191 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation. While officers were responding to the business, they were informed that video surveillance observed an unknown man inside the bank. When officers arrived on scene, no signs of forced entry were observed. Officers and a police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located. A keypad device was reported missing.
• Attempted Commercial Burglary – On March 22 at 3:28AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Lustine Toyota Dodge located at 14227 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a suspicious person possibly attempting entry into the business. Upon arriving at the location, officers observed damage to the front window. The investigation revealed no entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing.
* ARRESTS
Strangulation – On March 21 at 9:50PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 1400 block of Ranger Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old female juvenile, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused struck the victim multiple times before grabbing her neck. Other residents of the apartment intervened to separate the two parties. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Idalia C. MORALES, was arrested.

• Felony Tampering with a Catalytic Converter– On Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 3:24AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Alban Tractor located at 10330 Frosty Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate two suspicious men tampering with vehicles on the property. The investigation revealed the owner of the business contacted police when he observed the suspicious activity on video surveillance at the business.
Upon arriving at the location, officers located and detained the two men, later identified as the accused individuals below. The investigation revealed the men entered the lot and removed catalytic converters from multiple vehicles. While the two men were attempting to remove additional vehicle parts, officers arrived at the business.
While investigating the incident, officers located the suspect vehicle near the property. A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle which resulted in evidence that was recovered connecting the men to the thefts. Following the investigation, the suspects, identified as Male FIGUEROA and Cristian RAMIREZ CANALES, were arrested.

Cristian RAMIREZ CANALES, 18, of 5804 Spell Rd. in Clinton, MD
Both were charged with 5 counts of felony tampering with a catalytic converter and 1 count of possession of burglarious tools
