PWC Crime Report: March 8, 2023 -  Commercial & residential burglaries

UPDATES
• Commercial Burglary *ARREST – On March 7, 2023 the suspect wanted in connection to the burglary that was reported to have occurred at Kim’s Order Upholstery located at 13755 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) on January 20, 2023 was arrested. Officers had responded to the Woodbridge area to assist fire and rescue personnel with a man, later identified as the accused, suffering a medical emergency.
The accused was taken into custody and transported to an area hospital where he remains hospitalized. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused, identified as Edwin Alexis LIMA LINARES.

Commercial Burglary *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On February 8, detectives obtained warrants on the suspect sought in connection to the burglary that occurred at Kim’s Order Upholstery located at 13755 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) on January 20. Forensic evidence recovered from the scene ultimately led to the identity of the suspect. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Edwin Alexis LIMA LINARES. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful.

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On January 20 at 11:40AM, officers responded to Kim’s Order Upholstery located at 13755 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed entry was made into the business through a boarded-up window that was found damaged sometime between 5:30PM on January 19 and 8:15AM on January 20. Bicycles and several power tools were reported missing.

• Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related *ARREST | ADDITIONAL INCIDENT – On March 7 at 7:45PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Lighthouse Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed, the victim, a 22-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
At one point the accused locked himself, and their infant child, inside a room. When the victim was able to gain entry into the room, the accused struck and pushed her out of the room. The victim reported the incident to a family member who contacted the police. Officers made contact with the accused, who eventually exited the residence where he was taken into custody without incident. The infant was unharmed and released to a family member. While investigating the incident, officers determined the accused was actively wanted for the unrelated brandishing incident that occurred the day prior. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Nathaniel James BROZIK, was arrested.

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related [Previously Released] – On March 6 at 8:30PM, officers responded to the Telegraph Commuter Lot located at 13524 Telegraph Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victims, a 47-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, were driving on Caton Hill Rd., approaching Telegraph Rd., when they were involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a black sedan, later identified as the accused. Both vehicles continued on Telegraph Rd. before pulling into the commuter lot. While in the commuter lot, the accused brandished a firearm towards the victims before the parties separated. At no point during the encounter were shots fired. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Nathaniel BROZIK. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

INCIDENTS
• Indecent Exposure – On March 6 at 5:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 5600 block of Bengal Pl. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an indecent exposure. The investigation revealed three unknown males, possibly teenagers, were seen on video surveillance visiting multiple homes in the above area where one of the males proceeded to expose himself and make inappropriate gestures. At no point did the males have any contact with the residents of the homes.
Upon further investigation, officers determined the males had arrived in the area in a silver SUV. The males were wearing goggles, while the male seen exposing himself was seen wearing a fluffy onesie with ears and a mane running down the back.

• Residential Burglary – On March 7 at 11:37AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a burglary that was reported to have occurred at the Kensington Place Apartments located in the 2200 block of York Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) on March 6. The investigation revealed at approximately 8:30AM, the resident of the apartment woke to a strange noise. When the resident checked the apartment, no one was located. Later that morning, the resident observed her purse was rummaged through and her wallet was missing. There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment.

• Residential Burglary – On March 7 at 10:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8200 block of Frog Hollow Ct. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the homeowner observed an unknown individual inside the residence.
When the suspect saw the homeowner, he fled out of a bedroom window. Officers determined the suspect had entered and exited the home through the unsecured bedroom window. No property was reported missing. The suspect was described as a tall male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black jacket.

• Unlawful Filming at Forever 21 – On March 6 at 6:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Forever 21 inside Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an unlawful filming. The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old female juvenile, was inside the dressing room when she observed a phone being held under the door. The individual holding the phone was not observed by the victim. Video surveillance revealed the suspect entered the dressing room area after the victim. The suspect left the store a short time later. At no time was there any physical contact between the victim and the suspect.

A black male, between 20-25 years of age, approx. 5’1”
Last seen wearing a blue hat, a black jacket, a blue shirt, black pants, and white Nike shoes
