PWC Police Crime Report: Jan. 18, 2023 - Suspect arrested in April 2022 indecent exposure

• Indecent Exposure *ARREST –
On January 16, 2023, the suspect sought in connection to the indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred at the Woodwind Villa Apartments located in the 14400 block of Saxophone Way in Woodbridge (22191) on April 13, 2022, was arrested. The accused, Kenyar Vashon SHEPPARD, was located and taken into custody by Arlington County police where he will remain incarcerated until transported to Prince William County.

Charged with indecent exposure

Indecent Exposure *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On April 27, officers identified the suspect sought in connection to the indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred at the Woodwind Villa Apartments located in the 14400 block of Saxophone Way in Woodbridge (22191) on April 13. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Kenyar Vashon SHEPPARD. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Indecent Exposure [Previously Released] – On April 22 at 2:34PM, officers responded to investigate an indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred at the Woodwind Villa Apartments located in the 14400 block of Saxophone Way in Woodbridge (22191) on April 13. The investigation revealed the victim, a 42-year-old woman, was walking her dog when she observed a man remove his pants and walk nude towards the leasing office. The man eventually walked back and retrieved his pants before clothing himself and walking towards a breezeway. No contact was made between the victim and the man. The man was seen again on April 22 prompting the victim to notify the property manager who then contacted police. Video surveillance captured the incident and officers are following-up to identify the man.

INCIDENTS
• Armed Robbery –
On January 17, 2023 at 9:56AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the 8100 block of Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old man, was walking in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men who exited a nearby black Mercedes sedan. The suspects immediately brandished an electroshock weapon and demanded the victim’s property. The victim fled on foot with the suspects chasing him. At one point, one of the suspects brandished a firearm before the victim ran into a nearby business where he contacted police. The suspects initially entered the business after the victim and then fled in the Mercedes that was being driven by a third suspect, prior to police arriving at the business. No injuries were reported, and no property was reported missing.
Suspect Descriptions:
• A white male, tall, skinny, with green or blue eyes - Last seen wearing a black ski-style mask, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and jeans
• A Hispanic male, with a heavy build, styled hair, glasses, and tattoos on both arms - Last seen wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with writing and blue jeans
• A Hispanic female with long wavy red/brown hair - No known clothing description

• Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On January 17 at 8:18PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 block of Jefferies Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple rounds were fired before three unknown individuals fled on foot to nearby light-colored vehicle. No injuries or property damage were reported. While checking the area, officers located shell casings on the sidewalk near Stevens Rd. and Bellona Rd.

• Residential Burglary – On January 16 at 6:11PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 9400 block of Brentsville Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed at approximately 1:42PM, a light-colored Honda Odyssey pulled into the driveway of the home where three women then exited the vehicle. The women made entry into the home through an unsecured rear window and left the residence a short time later. Several pieces of jewelry were reported missing.
