PWC Police Department Crime Report for Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022: Officer kicked at hospital

• Malicious Wounding *ARREST –
On December 14, the suspect, identified as Teryn Khali BELL, who was sought in connection to the domestic assault that was reported to have occurred in the 17000 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) on November 4 was arrested by Dumfries police.
Arrested on December 14:
Teryn Khali BELL, 29, of no fixed address
Charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On November 4 at 11:33PM, officers responded to the 17000 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation inside a vehicle in the parking lot of an area business. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a firearm and physically struck the victim in the face. The parties eventually separated, and the victim reported the incident to a family member who contacted the police. While investigating the incident, officers determined the accused fled in a U-Haul truck prior to officers arriving at the location. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Teryn Khali BELL. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

INCIDENTS
• Attempted Malicious Wounding of a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 20 at 9:20PM, a Prince William County police officer conducted a vehicle stop on a blue
2008 Mercedes SC-400 in the area of Dale Blvd and Forestdale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for speeding and having no license plated displayed on the vehicle. The officer made
contact with the driver who initially provided information which was later determined to be fictitious.
As the officer attempted to read the Vehicle Identification Number, the driver accelerated, striking the officer in the arm with the vehicle’s mirror. The driver fled the area and was not pursued. The officer was not injured.
A short time later, an officer observed the same vehicle exit a parking lot onto Dale Blvd and attempted a vehicle stop. The driver again fled and was not pursued. The vehicle was eventually located unoccupied in front of a residence located in the 4100 block of Glendale Rd. Officers checked the residence where the vehicle’s owner returned. The driver was not located. Following the investigation, officers obtained multiple arrest warrants and traffic summonses for the driver, identified as Angel Isaac CABRERA CHIRINOS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a Hispanic male, 5’7”, 150lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for 1 count attempted malicious wounding of a LEO, 2 counts of felony eluding, 2 counts of providing false information to police, and multiple traffic-related offenses

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On December 21 at 12:29AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 13304 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a patron, later identified as the accused, was inside the business selecting and concealing merchandise.
When the clerk confronted the accused, he was knocked to the ground before the accused left the store. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers were able to identify the accused as Ralph EDON, and obtained arrest warrants. A police K-9 searched the area for the accused who was not located.

Described as a black male, 5’9”, 140lbs with black hair, brown eyes, and multiple tattoos on his arms
Wanted for robbery

• Residential Burglary – On December 20 at 1:27PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Packard Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the home was burglarized sometime between 10:00AM and 1:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the
residence. Several doors were found opened. An undisclosed amount of money and jewelry were reported missing.

• Suspicious Person – On December 19 at 4:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of Chinkapin Oak Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a possible attempted burglary. The investigation revealed an unknown man knocked on the homeowner’s door at approximately 6:45PM on December 18. During a conversation through the door, the man claimed his vehicle had broken down and needed money. The man repeatedly asked to be let into the home and kept turning the doorknob which was locked. The man eventually left the area on foot. No weapons were seen. During a canvass, a neighbor reported seeing the same man approach their home prior. That homeowner did not answer the door or speak to the man.

ARRESTS
Strangulation | Domestic Related –
On December 16, Prince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a domestic assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 17900 block of Woods View Dr in Dumfries (22026) on September 17. The investigation revealed on that date the victim, a 40-year-old woman, and a family
member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused placed his hands around her neck. The victim reported the incident to police on December 15 prompting the investigation. Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Aaron Wesley GRIFFITH, who was arrested by Stafford County deputies on December 16.

Charged with strangulation

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On December 20 at 3:00PM, officers responded to the Lowe’s located at 7500 Broken Branch Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 56-year-old man, was inside the store when the was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused. The accused quickly snatched money from the victim before fleeing the business. No injuries were reported. The accused was located a nearby business where he was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Tyrone D. BADIE, was arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 19 at 8:35AM, officers were monitoring an individual, identified as the accused, on a medical evaluation
at the UVA Prince William Medical Center located at 8700 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) when she became unrestrained and combative. During the encounter, the accused struck then kicked the same officer in the face before she was eventually resecured. The officer suffered a potential head injury and was treated. The accused was not injured. Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Kristen STEVENS, who remains hospitalized on a Temporary Detention Order.
