• Assault by Mob *ARREST – On Monday, November 7, 2022, the suspect sought in connection to the assault that was reported to have occurred at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC), located at 9320 Lee Avenue in Manassas (20110), on March 17, was arrested. The suspect, Jose Fernando MARTINEZ GONZALEZ, was located in the Manassas area. When officers attempted to detain the suspect, he actively resisted and was taken into custody without further incident after a brief struggle. While searching the accused, he was found in possession of a suspected illegal narcotics. Three other men were previously arrested on October 28 in connection with the assault investigation.

Assault by Mob [Previously Released] – On October 28, officers concluded an investigation into an assault that was reported to have occurred at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC), located at 9320 Lee Avenue in Manassas (20110), on March 17. The investigation revealed a 39-year-old male inmate of the facility, identified as the victim, was inside a room when multiple other inmates entered. During the encounter, the victim was struck and kicked several times by the other inmates before jail staff separated the parties. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries and is expected to recover. While investigating, officers identified four inmates involved in the assault. On October 28, three of the inmates were charged, and remain incarcerated at the ADC. Officers obtained arrest warrants for Jose Fernando MARTINEZ GONZALEZ, identified as the fourth man involved in the assault and had subsequently been released prior to service. Attempts to locate the remaining assailant have been unsuccessful.
INCIDENTS
• Death Investigation – On Sunday. November 6, 2022 at 1:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 2300 block of Research Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a death. The caller reported to police that they last had contact with an acquaintance on November 5. When they attempted to contact the acquaintance that day, he did not answer. Upon checking the acquaintance’s tent, which was in a wooded area near the above location, the caller located the man unconscious. The caller immediately contacted emergency services. Rescue personnel responded and pronounced the man deceased. The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and determination of cause of death. The victim’s identification will be released once a next-of-kin has been notified. No foul play is suspected in the death. More information will be released as necessary. The investigation continues.
•Residential Burglary – On November 7, 2022 at 9:33AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 10300 block of Manley Rd. in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the home was burglarized sometime between 12:00PM on November 3 and 8:50AM on November 7. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. Flooring was reported missing.
•Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 8 at 2:31AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 1800 block of Cedar Cove Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary-in-progress. Upon arriving at the residence, officers observed damage to the screen of a window. The investigation revealed the homeowner woke to an unknown noise on the ground level. When the homeowner turned on the light the suspect(s) fled the area. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
•Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 7, 2022 at 8:15AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 5600 block of Saint Charles Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed sometime between 6:00PM on November 6 and 6:40AM on November 7, entry was attempted into the home through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
ARRESTS
• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 1:58AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of Silverdale Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 29-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the face which caused her to fall to the ground and sustain additional injuries. The parties eventually separated after a family member contacted the police. Rescue personnel responded and transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The accused reported minor injuries sustained during the encounter and was transported to an area hospital for treatment and then released to officers. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jose Alberto HERNANDEZ, was arrested.

• Malicious Wounding – On November 7, 2022 at 6:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 200 block of 3rd Ave. in Quantico (22134) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed the accused and an acquaintance were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. When the accused retrieved a knife, a family member intervened, and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, the accused stabbed the 65-year-old male family member. The victim and the accused left the residence and were located by responding officers at a nearby residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jennifer Rosann HENRY was arrested.

•Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 7, 2022 at 6:20PM, Prince William County Police officers were in the 14300 block of Southgate Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) for a warrant service when they observed the accused walking towards a residence. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he actively resisted and struck an officer. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported. The accused was actively wanted in connection to a reckless driving and eluding incident that occurred earlier in the day in the area of Mapledale Ave. and Dale Blvd. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Fred Mubang MASSA, was arrested.

•Brandishing of a Firearm – On November 3, 2022 Prince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the 14400 block of Broadwinged Dr. in Gainesville (20155) on October 31. The investigation revealed two men were standing outside in the above area when they observed a vehicle allegedly speeding down the road. Once parked, one of the men walked down towards vehicle and took a photo. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as the accused, confronted the men. During the encounter, the accused brandished a firearm towards both men before fleeing the area. While investigating the incident, officers identified the accused and determined the firearm used during the incident was an airsoft gun. On November 3, following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eric Alexis GONZALEZ, was arrested.
