33 small business owners successfully ‘Opened for Business’ in PWC during August

Prince William County Department of Development Services reports that its Small Business Project Management Program (SBPM) supported 33 small business owners, who successfully ‘Opened for Business’ in August.

“The continued variety of new small business enterprise and entrepreneurs continues at-pace in Prince William County. Late summer marked a very busy period for small business owners and our team of Project Managers. In addition to completing projects, the team was also in high-demand for business consultations for future projects,”  said Wade A. Hugh, Director of the Department of Development Services.

Jinett, a software company, moved into 10432 Balls Ford Rd. Nearby is Storage Rentals of America that opened at 11524 Balls Ford Rd and Beladeva Fine European Pastries, which has located to 7549 Gary Rd in Interstate Industrial Park.

Along Sudley Road in Manassas, Central News Stand is newly situated in Manassas Mall. Furniture Clearance Outlet retail store has moved to 7673 Sudley Road and Express Tires has moved to 7800 Sudley Road. Within a short distance is a new healthcare services provider, New Era Homecare and Training, that has moved into Suite 101, 7532 Diplomat Dr.

Spirit Halloween has opened its doors for the seasonal festivities at 8105 Sudley Road in the West Gate shopping center and Fast Auto Repair is now providing services at 10621 Dumfries Road.

Pronto Fulfillment warehouse center is now located at 8680 Virginia Meadows Drive. United Fitness moved into 7500 Limestone Dr, which was formerly occupied by Onelife Fitness. Pakwaan Indian Cuisine reopened at 7519 Linton Hall in Virginia Gateway and Electric Aesthetic Lash Lounge opened at 7530 Old Linton Hall Road.

In the Woodbridge area, Potomac Mills welcomed three new businesses – UGG, Black American Market and Pei Wei Express. Ruby Tuesdays located at 12721 Marblestone Drive received a new occupancy authorization letter.

New at PS Business Center Drive are R&A Construction at 3050 PS Business Center Drive and Durostamp Press Brake Tooling USA at 3067 PS Business Center Drive. Assurance Family Care opened at 12801 Darby Brooke Ct and Hy Massage has opened at 4391 Ridgewood Center Drive.

Happy Hope Support Group is now providing services at 13190 Centerpointe Way, across from Jenkins Elementary School. Ambition Driving School has opened at 13895 Hedgewood Dr and a Tobacco King has opened nearby at 3930 Prince William Pkwy. Rapidisimo Services is now open for business at 4112 Dale Blvd.

Business owners located on Richmond Highway (formerly Jefferson Davis Hwy) - Color by Design at 13592 Richmond Hwy, Excellent Eyebrow Threading at 3905 Richmond Hwy and Sierra Resources at 14419 Richmond Hwy - have received new occupancy authorization letters to support business license recertifications for the address change. Cars2Us of Woodbridge newly located to 13401 Occoquan Road. Covenant Property Services at 14381 Pine Lane has also received an occupancy authorization letter.

Avision Worldwide, a professional development company, is now operating at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. Harbour Bay, meeting and event planning services, is in business at 13200 Marina Way.

As the lead development services agency for Prince William County government, the Department of Development Services is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code by reviewing commercial and residential construction plans, issuing permits, inspecting structures, and enforcing building code requirements.
