Woodbridge High Homecoming Parade in Lake Ridge on Friday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m.

The Student Activities Leadership Council (SALC) will be hosting the Woodbridge Senior High School Homecoming parade on Friday, Oct. 21, and everyone from the community is invited to share the fun and excitement.

The route will begin on Deepford Drive, travel west, then turn left on Antietam Road, and then proceed towards Woodbridge High School.  Participants from several floats will be giving out candy along the parade route, according to pre-parade publicity.

Spectators should arrive at the parade route shortly before 4 p.m. when the parade is scheduled to begin.

The Homecoming Parade will consist of a number of different floats representing clubs and sports activities at Woodbridge Sr. High School. New for the 2022 Parade: Parade organizers report that students involved in middle school band and cheer programs will also appear in the parade.

Students on the WSHS Student Activities Leadership Council say they are very grateful to share the experience of the homecoming parade with the public and hope to see many members of the community in attendance. This event allows the community to come together and celebrate the week of the Homecoming football game and dance for high school students.
