Pedestrian dies from injuries from Oct. 5 crash on Sudley Manor Drive

Fatal Crash Investigation – On October 5, 2022 at 9:04PM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Sudley Manor Dr and Chatsworth Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.
The investigation revealed the driver of a 2021 GMC Arcadia was traveling northbound on Sudley Manor Dr, just past Chatsworth Dr, when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was wearing dark clothing and walking within the middle of the roadway. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash and contacted police and rescue personnel.
The pedestrian was flown to an area hospital where he died Oct. 6 as a result of his injuries sustained in the crash. Speed or impairment does not appear to be factors in the collision on the part of the driver. The investigation continues.

The driver of the 2021 GMC Arcadia was identified as a 42-year-old man of Bristow
