PWC Businesses: Have you filed your Annual Recycling Report due by Oct. 15?

Sec. 22-169 of the Prince William County Code requires “all” businesses and non-residential properties that are located in Prince William County to annually report their recycling activities to the Department of Public Works by Oct. 15.

Your can grab the 2022 Prince William Business Recycling Report forms online at:

According to a notice from PW Solid Waste coordinator Deborah Campbell, the report takes 10-15 minutes to fill out. Campbell recommends the form be completed by the person who is most familiar with trash and recycling collection for the property or business.

Businesses that are home-based in PWC and businesses that are located within the incorporated towns of Haymarket, Occoquan, or Dumfries and Quantico are not required to file a recycling report.

In Virginia, unlike any other state, cities are not located within counties so businesses located in the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park don’t have to file a PWC recycling report either.
