ARRESTS
• Bank Robbery – On September 21, 2022 at 4:34PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Wells Fargo bank located at 12711 Marblestone Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate initial reports of a panic alarm activation. As officers were arriving on scene, they determined the bank was being robbed and observed a possible suspect, later identified as the accused, exit the front door, and run towards the Prince William Pkwy.
Officers, including a police K-9, chased the suspect who was seen pulling on several door handles of vehicles stopped at the traffic signal at the nearby intersection with Ridgefield Rd. The police K-9 and handler were able to detain the accused in the roadway. The investigation revealed the accused entered the bank and approached a teller where he passed a note demanding money and implying he was armed with a bomb. The accused took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank and encountering police in the parking lot. The note and money were subsequently recovered.
The accused was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries from the apprehension involving the police K-9. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Peter MULLINS, was arrested.

•Unlawful Wounding | Strangulation | Abduction – On September 21 at 5:24AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation the evening prior. The altercation escalated when the accused struck the victim multiple times.
At one point, the victim attempted to leave when the accused grabbed her and pushed into a bedroom where he continued to assault the victim. When the victim attempted to leave a second time, the accused put his arm around her neck. The accused continued to assault the victim for several hours until leaving the apartment. The victim contacted rescue services, prompting the police response. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Travon Dontae BOYETTE, who was subsequently located and arrested by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

• Strong-Arm Robbery | Assault by Mob – On September 21, 2022 at 6:22PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 4200 block of Ashmere Cir in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a robbery. Responding officers met with one victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile, who had been robbed and assaulted by a group of juveniles. As officers were investigating the incident, they were approached by a parent and second victim, identified as a 13-year-old male juvenile, who was also assaulted and robbed earlier in the evening by the same group.
The incidents occurred separately and both victims reportedly knew some of the juveniles involved. Responding officers were able to locate and detain four of the juveniles involved in the incident. One of the juveniles was found in possession of a firearm. Both victims sustained minor injuries from their altercations. Following the investigation, three of the juveniles were charged. Additional charges are expected for others involved.
