• Aggravated Malicious Wounding *SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED | ARRESTS –
On Friday, July 22, 2022 Prince William County Police detectives identified three men in connection with the shooting that occurred at the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 block of Jeffries Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) on July 18. During the encounter, a 38-year-old man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The investigation revealed the altercation stemmed from ongoing dispute between the man and other known parties. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspects. Two of the suspects, Emerson Titus MCALLISTER and Daniele DEPAOLIS have been arrested. The third suspect, identified as Maurice Eric SOWERS IV, remains wanted.

Described as a black male, 5’7”, 170lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and assault & battery
Arrested on July 26:
Emerson Titus MCALLISTER, 36, of 14303 Bellona Rd, #901 in Woodbridge
Charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On July 18 at 9:11PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 block of Jeffries Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting with injuries. Upon arriving in the area, officers located a 38-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided immediate first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived and transported him to an area hospital where his injuries were determined to be life-threatening. The investigation revealed two groups of individuals were in the above area when a verbal altercation escalated physically.
At one point during the altercation, a member of one of the groups brandished a firearm before firing a round, striking the man located by police. Shortly after the shooting, another member of the same group also brandished a gun towards the other group. Several individuals dispersed as police were contacted.
While investigating the incident, officers were informed members of the group who brandished the firearm fled in a vehicle. Officers located the unoccupied suspect vehicle a short distance away from the above location. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police searched the area for the suspects who were not located. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. Multiple individuals were on scene and were not cooperative with police. At this time, the incident does not appear to be random.

INCIDENTS
• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related –
On Monday, July 25, 2022 at 9:57AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Tulip Tree Pl in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 31-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused struck and kicked the victim multiple times. At one point, the accused produced a knife and held it to the victim’s throat. The accused then forced the victim to remain at the residence after he made threats to harm her. The parties eventually separated, and police were contacted. The victim sought treatment at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Tyree D-Avon GILCHRIST. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

Wanted for malicious wounding, abduction, and domestic assault & battery

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 11:38AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14100 block of Carmody Pl in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 17-year-old female juvenile, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in an ongoing argument when the accused arrived at the victim’s home to confront her.
The encounter escalated physically when with the accused attempted to remove the victim’s cell phone from her pocket, causing both parties to fall to the ground. A struggle ensued before the accused forcibly took the victim’s phone and fled the area. Minor injuries were reported. Officers made contact with the accused who refused to cooperate with the investigation or reveal his location. Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Shyheem Markel MAXWELL. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

• Residential Burglary – On Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 8:42PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 10000 block of Woolen Kilt Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed sometime between 9:00AM on July 24 and 4:26PM on July 26, the garage area of the home was entered. There were no signs of forced entry into the garage. Two firearms were reported missing.

ARRESTS
• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] –
On July 26, 2022 at 10:31AM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to Boost Mobile located at 1816 Featherstone Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault.
The investigation revealed an unknown male and female patron entered the business and approached an employee, 40-year-old man for assistance. During the encounter, the male patron, later identified as the accused, became agitated and began to argue with the employee.
A second employee, a 28-year-old woman, approached to offer assistance. The accused continued to act disorderly to the employees before the female patron left the business. At one point, the accused exposed himself to both employees before striking the male employee, knocking a phone from his hands.
The accused then threw a water bottle at the employees before walking outside the business where he confronted and struck the male employee multiple times.
After the assault, the accused got into a vehicle and fled the area. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and obtained a further description of the vehicle. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle in the area of Bay Vista Dr.
The investigation led officers to a nearby apartment where they located and made contact with both patrons. The accused was detained and escorted to a cruiser where he continued to act disorderly before proceeding to spat on an officer. The accused continued to his demeanor and was placed in a cruiser. While being transported to the Adult Detention Center, the accused broke an interior door handle in the vehicle. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Anthony Marquis JOHNSON, was arrested.

Charged with 1 count of assault & battery of a LEO, 2 counts of assault & battery, 2 counts of indecent exposure, and 1 count of destruction of property

• Attempted Malicious Wounding – On Monday, July 25, 2022 at 7:16PM,  Prince William County Police officers responded to the Days Inn located at 16925 Old Stage Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old female juvenile, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused retrieved a small axe from her purse and swung it, striking an interior wall in one of the rooms. The victim contacted police and the parties separated. Officers located the accused a short distance away from the hotel where she was detained without incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Shemia Raneek ROYALS, was arrested.
