• Shooting Investigation *ARRESTS –
On July 19, 2022 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Bureau concluded the investigation into the shooting that occurred in the parking lot of the Sams Car Wash located at 8129 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) on July 3. During the investigation, detectives identified two men who fired shots during the incident and determined they were same men who were driven to the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. Following the investigation, Timothy Duval FIELDS, and Christopher Allen FIELDS, were arrested.

Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On July 3 at 11:51PM, officers responded to the parking lot of the Sams Car Wash located at 8129 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed a large gathering was occurring at the location when an argument ensued. During the encounter, the altercation escalated when multiple gunshots were fired before the gathering dispersed. Officers arrived on scene quickly and located evidence of a shooting. While investigating the incident, an adult male was located in the area of Nimitz Ct and Fairmount Ave suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers responded to the area and provided immediate first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived on scene. Two additional adult males were driven to an area hospital, also suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers arrived at the hospital and determined the two men were present at the shooting. A fourth adult male was also later identified as being at the location at the time of the shooting and had been shot. Three of the men were flown to an area trauma center while the fourth man was ground transported. The men ranged in age from 23 to 26. At this time, all injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. Detectives are actively investigating the shooting to identify the parties involved. The investigation continues.

• Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related *ARREST – On July 19, 2022 the suspect sought in connection to the domestic that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 17800 block of Oyster Bay Ct. in Dumfries (22026) on July 16, was arrested. The accused, George ADJEI, was taken into custody without incident.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related [Previously Released] – On July 16 at 9:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17800 block of Oyster Bay Ct. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 57-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused kneed and struck the victim multiple times before shoving her into a wall which caused her to strike her head. Later that evening, the victim went to an area hospital where police were contacted. The victim’s injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as George ADJEI. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

INCIDENTS
• Homicide Investigation –
On July 20, 2022 at 6:42PM, Prince William County Policeofficers responded to the 16600 block of Georgetown Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located a 21-year-old man on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided immediate first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived at the location. The man was transported to an area hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. A 26-year-old man was also located at the scene with a gunshot wound to his hand. The man was also transported to an area hospital where the injury was determined to be non-life threatening.
The preliminary investigation revealed the two men, and a third man, were standing outside on the sidewalk when two unknown men appeared from a nearby alley. The unknown men immediately began shooting towards the three men before fleeing on foot. Multiple vehicles were also struck during the encounter. No other injuries were reported. Helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police checked the area for the shooters who were not located. The men were only described as black males, wearing all dark-colored clothing. At this time, detectives from the Homicide Unit are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting and are seeking to speak with anyone who has information as to what occurred. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.

The deceased was identified as Brian Darnell MARSHALL II, 21, of Woodbridge

• Shooting Investigation – On July 20, 2022 at 9:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 Jeffries Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed an unknown man fired multiple rounds towards an apartment building before fleeing.
While investigating the incident, officers located four apartments and two unoccupied vehicles that were struck during the shooting. The shooting appeared to have stemmed from an ongoing dispute between community members. No gunshot related injuries were reported. Shell casings were recovered in the parking lot. At this time, the incident does not appear to be random.

Armed Carjacking – On July 20, 2022 at 10:55PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 16800 block of Nuttal Oak Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an armed carjacking. The investigation revealed the victim, a 44-year-old man, was approached by two unknown men after parking his vehicle in the above area. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm before demanding the victim exit the vehicle.
The victim got out of the vehicle and the suspects fled the area. The victim was not injured and went to a nearby apartment where police were contacted. While checking the area, officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The driver of the vehicle disregarded the officer’s emergency equipment and continued driving. The officers pursued the vehicle onto Deweys Run Ln. where the driver of the vehicle stopped, and the two suspects fled on foot.
A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. A cell phone was reported missing from the vehicle. Both suspects are described as tall black males wearing hooded tops.

• Aggravated Assault – On July 20, 2022 at 10:43AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at Jiffy Lube Live located at 7800 Cellar Door Dr. in Bristow (20136) on July 17. The investigation revealed the victim, a 24-year-old man, was in the lawn section of the venue when an unknown group of people near him began to physically fight.
Without provocation, members of the group then began to strike the victim which caused the victim to roll down the hill. Eventually the parties separated, and the victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No additional injuries from the incident were reported.
Suspect Description:
A white male, between 20-30 years old, with a husky build
Last seen wearing a trucker hat and a flannel style shirt
A white male last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt and light-colored shorts

• Aggravated Assault – On July 17, 2022 at 11:45AM, Prince William County Police officers were flagged down in the parking lot of Jiffy Lube Live, located at 7800 Cellar Door Dr. in Bristow (20136), to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 31-year-old man, was in the parking lot talking to an unknown group of people when a verbal altercation ensued. The encounter escalated when a man from the group struck the victim several times before bystanders intervened and separated the parties. The assailant and other members of the group got into a grey truck and fled the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A white male, approximately 5’8” with a medium build, and short brown hair

• Commercial Burglary – On July 20, 2022 at 11:56PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Big Boss Smoke Shop located at 17999 Dumfries Shopping Plaza in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an alarm activation. Upon arriving at the store, officers observed damage to the front glass door. The investigation revealed three unknown men made entry into the store by using a hammer to smash the front glass door. At this time, no property has been reported missing.

•Residential Burglary – On July 20, 2022 at 5:26PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12400 block of Iona Sound Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. Upon entering the home, the homeowner observed items inside the dining room that did not belong to them before contacting the police. The investigation revealed entry was made into the home through an unsecured door. No property was reported missing.
