PWC Police Report for Thursday, April 28, 2022 -  Robberies at local bank and ABC store

• Indecent Exposure *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED –
On April 27, 2022 Prince William County Police officers identified the suspect sought in connection to the indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred at the Woodwind Villa Apartments located in the 14400 block of Saxophone Way in Woodbridge (22191) on April 13. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Kenyar Vashon SHEPPARD. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer for the PWC Police Department.
Wanted:
Kenyar Vashon SHEPPARD, 26, of the 14500 block of Piccolo Ln. in Woodbridge
Described as a black male, approximately 5’8”, 150lbs., with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for indecent exposure

Indecent Exposure [Previously Released] – On April 22, 2022 at 2:34PM, officers responded to investigate an indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred at the Woodwind Villa Apartments located in the 14400 block of Saxophone Way in Woodbridge (22191) on April 13. The investigation revealed the victim, a 42-year-old woman, was walking her dog when she observed a man remove his pants and walk nude towards the leasing office. The man eventually walked back and retrieved his pants before clothing himself and walking towards a breezeway. No contact was made between the victim and the man. The man was seen again on April 22 prompting the victim to notify the property manager who then contacted police. Video surveillance captured the incident and officers are following-up to identify the man.

Incidents
• Bank Robbery –
On April 27, 2022 at 3:41PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to the M&T Bank located at 12451 Hedges Run Dr. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the bank and approached the counter. The man then jumped over the counter and demanded money from the registers. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before he jumped back over the counter and fled the area on foot. At no time was a weapon brandished or implied. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
An unknown race male, in his 30’s, between 5’6”-5’8”, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a dark green hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, sunglasses, a light-colored mask, black gloves, blue jeans, and dark colored shoes with a hexagon pattern on the side

• Strong-Arm Robbery – On April 27, 2022 at 9:46PM, officers responded to the ABC Store located at 13991 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. An employee of the store reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and selected multiple items before walking to the front door. When the employee confronted the suspect near the door, the suspect shoved the employee and exited the store with the unpaid items. No injuries were reported. Bottles of alcohol were reported missing. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
A black male, between 20-35 years old, approximately 6’2”, with a heavy build
Last seen wearing glasses, a black mask, a black jacket, a blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, blue jeans and light-colored shoes

• Brandishing of a Firearm – On April 26, 2022 at 12:02AM, officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred at the Woodbridge Commuter Rail Park and Ride located at 1040 Express Way in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 9:30PM on April 25. The victim, a 21-year-old man, reported to police that he was in the parking garage when he was approached by an unknown man who was brandishing a firearm. A brief verbal altercation ensued before the parties separated. The investigation revealed that the suspect yelled about the noise coming from the victim’s vehicle before the suspect approached the victim. The victim left the area before contacting the police. At no point were shots fired during the encounter.
Suspect Description:
A Hispanic male, in his 30’s, approximately 6’00”, with a heavy build, with short black hair, and a beard
Last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a purple stripe and lettering, grey sweatpants, and black shoes
