On April 23, 2022, at approximately 8:30 a.m., a citizen witnessed an SUV strike a fire hydrant in the 8500 block of Signal Hill Rd. in the City of Manassas. The fire hydrant was completely separated from the ground and the vehicle fled the scene. This is an active investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to contact (703) 257-8000. Larceny from Auto(s)
On April 25, 2022, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a citizen witnessed an unknown suspect rummaging through their vehicle in the 9200 block of Allen St. in the City of Manassas. The victim confronted the subject and he fled the area on foot. Upon police arrival it was discovered that several other vehicles had also been broken into. The public is reminded to secure their vehicles to help deter theft.

Stolen Vehicle
On April 24, 2022 at approximately 2:30 p.m. a citizen reported their vehicle was stolen from the 9400 block of Zebedee St. in the City of Manassas. Officers responded to the area and discovered the vehicle being driven in the area of Grant Ave. in Old Town. The vehicle was recovered without incident and the driver was taken into custody.

Burglary
On April 25, 2022 at approximately 8:30 p.m. police responded to the 9300 block of Stonewall Rd, in the City of Manassas (All Saints Church). A witness reported the suspect broke a window with a rock and had entered the church. Police were able to locate and arrest the suspect without incident.
