March 29, 2022 is Virginia Vietnam Veterans Day with 11 a.m. ceremony at Va. War Memorial

Governor Glenn Youngkin has proclaimed Tuesday, March 29, 2022 as Virginia Vietnam Veterans Day to honor and recognize the men and women who served in the US Armed Forces during the Vietnam War era.

There will be a special Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony presented by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services on Tuesday, March 29 at 11 a.m. EDT at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond, 621 S. Belevedre Street.

At the conclusion of the program there will be a presentation of the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration Pin to all service members in attendance who served between 1955 and 1975.
