Aggravated Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On Wednesday,. Jan. 5, 2022, the suspect Prince William County Police had been looking for in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred at Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) on Nov. 18, 2021 was arrested. The suspect, Jamarion Dawan JACKSON, was located and taken into custody by members of the Manassas City Police Department, according to a repot filed by Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer.

Jamarion Dawan JACKSON, 18, of 509 N. Armistead St. in Alexandria
Charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, discharging a firearm in an occupied building, possession of a concealed weapon, and destruction of property

Aggravated Malicious Wounding *UPDATE [Previously Released] – Detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau have identified the suspect sought in connection the shooting that was reported to have occurred at Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) on November 18. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Jamarion Dawan JACKSON. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful.
Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On November 18, 2021 at 3:07PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting. Responding officers determined the shooting occurred inside of the Fashion Mechanics store and there was no active threat to the community. The investigation revealed a male patron was inside the store when a 22-year-old man entered and approached the patron. The two men immediately began to physically fight one another. At some point during the altercation, the patron retrieved a firearm from his person and fired multiple rounds as he exited the store. The man who initiated the contact was struck by more than one round in the lower body. The injured subject fled the store and was driven to a nearby hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. The shooter fled the area prior to police arrival. There were multiple employees inside the store at the time of incident who were not injured. Detectives are actively investigating to determine what led up to the shooting incident. The investigation continues.
Incidents
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 at 1:40AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Bar Louie located at 15001 Potomac Town Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight with weapons. The investigation revealed that a male patron was inside the bar when he engaged in a verbal altercation with two unknown men. During the encounter, the male patron retrieved a firearm and brandished it inside the business before walking outside.
The verbal altercation between the male patron and the men continued outside and, at one point, multiple shots were fired before all parties fled. No injuries or property damage were reported. While investigating the incident, officers located shell casings on the ground near the business. There is no suspect description at this time. The investigation continues.
Commercial Burglary – On Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022 at 1:12PM, officers responded to Prince William Pediatrics located at 4001 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. An employee of the business reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 2:00PM on Dec. 30, 2021 and 9:30AM on Jan. 4, 2022. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through the main office door which was found damaged. At this time, no property has been reported missing.
Arrests
Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 at 12:52PM, the accused was in police custody at the Eastern District Station located at 15948 Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge (22191), for an unrelated incident. While being processed, the accused spat on an officer. The accused was re-secured without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Justin Antonio ESPINOZA, was arrested.
