PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

This Saturday, May 11, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (VA-10) will host an open house for constituents from 9 a.m. to noon, at her Sterling district office so constituents can meet with staff and discuss navigating federal agencies, opening casework, etc.

Prince William County Police will join law enforcement agencies throughout Virginia in the “Click It or Ticket” campaign to enforce safety-belt and child safety-seat laws. Expect high-visibility patrols – day and night – from Monday, May 13, through Sunday, June 2 (which includes the Memorial Day holiday weekend).

The Barnes House has a rich history. Built in 1797 as a tavern, it is one of the county's oldest buildings. It has been moved twice, rebuilt and restored in 2017, and now sits at the Montclair Community Library. With the exhibits inside the house complete, it is ready for visitors.

Chief Barry Barnard of the Prince William County Police Department will host an open “Conversation with the Chief” on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Dumfries Elementary School located at 3990 Cameron Street in Dumfries beginning at 7 p.m.

Members of the community are invited to join the Board of County Supervisors in honoring the country's veterans during a ceremony on Tuesday, May 14, at 1 p.m. at Prince William County War Memorial in Freedom Park in recognition of Armed Forces Day May 14 and Memorial Day May 27.
