On October 6 at 10:43AM, officers responded to investigate a malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7500 Roxbury Ave. in Manassas (20109) on October 2.

On October 6 at 2:40AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Smoketown Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. While investigating, a second burglary call came in.

On October 1, detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit obtained additional information that led to the identify of two of the suspects sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 1300 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) on September 30.

On October 2, an additional suspect sought in connection to the burglaries that occurred in the Dumfries and Triangle area on September 23 was arrested.
The Ruth E. Lloyd Information Center, or RELIC, is offering several events of historic interest this month, including how to use a library for genealogy research, a history lesson covering events from 100 years ago and a family history fair.

On September 29 at 3:30AM, officers responded to Graham Park Middle School located at 3613 Graham Park Rd. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a trespassing complaint.
A caller reported to police that inappropriate words were written in chalk on the community basketball courts sometime between 3:00PM on September 26 and 12:00PM on September 27.
