On Friday, June 18, 2021, at 3:37a.m., officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the area near Bayside Ave. and Mount Pleasant Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 17.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 28-year-old woman and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, stopped in the above area where a verbal altercation escalated inside of the vehicle. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim. When the victim attempted to exit the vehicle, the accused grabbed her and prevented her from leaving.
