PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Amy Ashworth, Commonwealth’s Attorney for Prince William County, in conjunction with the ongoing investigation led by Prince William County police, announced criminal indictments for two additional men, and two other men previously arrested in connection with the Woodbridge murder of a woman, Egypt Zapporah CARTER, 23, in February.

Prince William County Supervisors Andrea O. Bailey and Kenny Boddye invite community members to attend their Housing Matters Town Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at IKEA in Woodbridge. Registration and information stations open at 6 p.m.; program is 6:30-8: p.m.
The public is invited to the annual Northern Virginia Joint Transportation Meeting on Monday, Dec. 2 at VDOT's Northern Virginia office 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. with an open house where attendees can talk with representatives from each agency. A listening session with a panel of appointed officials from various agencies will begin at 7:15 p.m. and will be streamed online as the panel receives public comments about Virginia’s transportation network.

On April 15, the victim was declared deceased and transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy where it was later determined the manner of death would be classified as a homicide due to sepsis in the setting of cerebral palsy and neglect.
