On April 2, 2020 officers from the Prince William County Police Department concluded an investigation into an attempted malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred near the 8000 block of Ashland Ave. in Manassas (20109) on March 13.

On April 5, 2020 at 8:21PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Cara Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a stabbing.
On April 6, the suspect sought in connection to the Feb. 16 abduction that was reported to have occurred at the Regency Apartments located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp. in Manassas (20109), was arrested.

On March 28, 2020 at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9500 block of Coggs Bill Drive for a report of a larceny and an assault. The victim was a pizza delivery employee.

Prince William Fire & Rescue reports that a Woodbridge man was attacked April 5, 2020 with a flaming log, which knocked the victim into a fire, causing burns to his face, neck, shoulder, back, and forearms. A suspect was charged with malicious wounding by fire and is being held without bond.
Today, April 6, Virginia Congressman Rob Wittman, who represents part of Prince William County, and Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH-6), spurred by the Coronavirus Pandemic across America, introduced legislation to create a five-year pilot grant program to expand reliable broadband access to some 19 million rural Americans who are unable to connect to this service.
