Police said the driver of a 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on James Madison Hwy approaching Dominion Valley Dr when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was present in the lane of travel, outside of a crosswalk. A short time later, second driver operating a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the same travel lane on James Madison Hwy appears to have also struck the pedestrian who was still in the roadway. Both drivers stopped nearby and contacted police.

On Sunday, Jan. 17 at 7:47AM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the intersection of the Prince William Parkway and Balls Ford Road in Manassas (20109) to investigate a single vehicle crash.
Due to security concerns, the Chief Judge of the Prince William County. VA Circuit Court has decided to close the Judicial Center in Manassas on Tuesday, Jan. 19, and Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit received notification regarding the identity of the man whose body was discovered at the American Recycling Center, located at 10220 Residency Road in Manassas (20110), on October 13, 2020. Multiple attempts have been made to locate and notify a next-of-kin for the deceased without success. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a family member of the deceased or anyone who may have known him.
