PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

On Sunday, July 25 at 8:20AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the area of Adler Ln. near Aaron Ln. in Manassas (20109) at approximately 9:00PM on July 24.

Gunshots fired at two residences after midnight last weekend. Police have a few clues.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 5:57PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13400 block of Pomander Lp. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers observed a front window that appeared to have been tampered with.

On July 15, 2021 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 8900 block of Brewer Creek Pl. in Manassas (20109) sometime between 9:00PM on June 26 and 4:00AM on June 27.

On July 20 at 1:33AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Bixby Ln. and Bowes Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault.

A resident reported to Prince William County Police that while inside his Manassas apartment, he heard a gunshot just before a hole appeared in his kitchen wall.

Current and forecasted population growth in the Woodbridge Magisterial District shows that the district needs a new library and that the senior center and Potomac Community Library are hard-pressed to meet current demand. Each project will receive $310,000 toward the in-house staffing, engineering, and architectural services needed to develop a master plan that will guide design, construction, and programming.

The investigation revealed that while in a parking lot near Liberia Ave. and Mathis Ave. in Manassas, the victim, a 20-year-old man, was approached by an unknown man, who asked for a ride. The victim agreed and drove to the Haymarket area where the man exited the car and returned a short time later with a firearm. The suspect then demanded the victim’s property before dragging the victim out of the vehicle.
